Improving Student Outcomes
The Center for Educational Innovation (CEI) and Comprehensive School Solutions (CSS) are proud to offer New York City Schools a series of workshops designed to assist educators working with students with special needs. Each full day workshop in the series will be offered in two different locations. Each full day session will include complimentary materials, breakfast (8:30am) & lunch.

Lisa Dieker, PhD, a professor and Lockheed Martin eminent scholar and the coordinator of the University of Central Florida's PhD program in special education, has produced six books and two videos focused on effective strategies for inclusion and co-teaching.

Marilyn Friend, PhD, past president of CEC and professor emeritus at UNC, is the foremost authority on co-teaching, having authored several best-selling publications, as well as co-authored three of the most widely used college textbooks on special education.
